Finals
I'll admit that it's all self-induced, but I'll be damned if it's not exhilarating when these things come down to the wire. I find I do some of my best writing then. If you need me, I'll be in Stanley Coulter G73, the computer lab...for two days straight.
By senior year, I was writing my 5-7 page papers two to three hours before they were due. I did some of my best work on those papers.... I expect you are too busy to comment on my comment- I remain at the ready with Heroes whenever you are free of academic obligations!
I remember one semester I had three 10-page papers that were due three days in a row. Each night I started a new paper with a bottle of bourbon at hand, promptly passed out, then woke up at midnight and finished the rest of the paper before dawn. I thought they were great papers at the time...

Donald Claycomb could always amuse us with his own epigram:
"The sooner you get behind, the more time you have to catch up."

Hey, I'm writing a great paper. And I'm not drunk!
Well, I wouldn't hold out much hope on that paper then...
