I like that. The "heaven Paul". Maybe the next time I refer, to saints, I'll say "the heaven Paul" or "the heaven Monica". It means the same thing. Woot. I love it. Alas, Laura was making a joke about someting that went on last Friday. Anne, Laura's sister, was talking about her father-in-law, Paul. Well, we wern't listening very well, so we kept asking,"who the hell is paul?", much to Anne's frustration. I kind of became a little joke.
I really liked the comment. I did make me laugh. I was just trying to explain to my sister-in-law's husband, Paul, that we were not wondering who the hell he was. I'm not up on the in-law relation factors. Is my Sister-in-law's husband my brother-in-law? I don't know.
You're going to need logarithms just to count the number of comments... or maybe I'm misunderstanding logarithms somehow... or counting... or elipses... or the fact that the number of elipsis dots is now equal to the number of comments...

Sigh.... me too.

Who the hell is Paul?
Sigh... indeed, Who the hell is Paul?
It depends on which Paul you mean. Which the hell Paul do you mean, Laura?
Sigh, tomorrow will be Wednesday, and then I will be grilled.
At least there's no plague going on...
She can't mean me; I am the heaven Paul.

I was trying to make you smile...sorry for the confusion. Whoa, bad joke gone worse :o)
Laura-
I really liked the comment. I did make me laugh. I was just trying to explain to my sister-in-law's husband, Paul, that we were not wondering who the hell he was. I'm not up on the in-law relation factors. Is my Sister-in-law's husband my brother-in-law? I don't know.
Brother-in-law^2, I believe. We don't need any logarithms for that, do we, the heaven Paul?
I bet you didn't think you were gonna get 11 comments from that post, huh?!
:o)
You mean 12 comments? No I didn't.
I'm gonna make it 13 because Bob has class tonight, the boys are outside, Meg is asleep, and I have nothing better to do with my time.

Okay - now it's just all about the numbers...
You're going to need logarithms just to count the number of comments... or maybe I'm misunderstanding logarithms somehow... or counting... or elipses... or the fact that the number of elipsis dots is now equal to the number of comments...
not anymore...
I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry at the fact that the shortest post I've ever posted has gotten this many comments.
You're avoiding the writing of another post, aren't you?! :o) In the hopes that your comment section will continue to grow...
I want in this number game.
I thought is best if the number of comments was a prime number (19), better yet if part of a twin prime (see Wikipedia Article)
You would think prime numbers should be boring, but it turns out they have a large number of uses, especially in cryptography.
For the record:
Logarithms do have some applications in counting. For example, to count to n you need floor( log10( n ) ) + 1 decimal digits.
Can someone remind me what the original post was about again?
